Total Wealth Management

There are fewer things than money that to cause us such happiness, sadness, frustration and all the emotions in between.

Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen [pounds] nineteen [shillings] and six [pence], result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery.” Charles Dickens, David Copperfield

Very few of us are Robinson Crusoe, where money is concerned. Sticking to a budget is tough these days, as social media and ads selling all types of things that will make us healthier, more attractive, and happier. Then there are friends, family members, and celebrities posting on their Facebook, Instagram or other social media pages showing off their latest purchase.

We spend for many reasons. Sometimes it is as a relief from stress. Other times simply because we have some money that is “unaccounted” for and spending in the here and now feels much more satisfying than saving it or investing it. Our personality plays a big role in what we buy, why we spend and what we spend on.

Most of us have a certain level of recurring commitments and so we often find we don’t have enough left over for investing and securing our future. Investing is one part of our overall money management. Its focus is the long term and as we try to manage our day to day lives, it is often difficult to consider the arrival of “the future”.

Books and seminars abound at how easy it is to manage money, but managing money successfully requires more than simply reading a book or going to a seminar. The main reason is that our goals, while laudable, are unrealistic because we have not taken our true personality into account.

Let me teach you and give you the tools and knowledge to handle money like a professional. Let me teach you about your potential trigger points which weaken your resolve when it comes to money.

In the Total Money Management program we work together to gain an increased awareness of your personality. Our aim is to develop a program to minimise your efforts toward money management. We will leverage your natural strengths, recognise where your weaknesses lay and develop strategies and actions to build financial and emotional wealth to get you on the path to where you want to go.

A key to building wealth and maintaining your desired lifestyle is understanding your personality – why you spend, what you buy, what you believe and know about money and how you view the future.
